| This is something that I wrote the other day as kind of a journal type thing. I wasn't originally going to post it, but Taryn said I should, so I took her word for it. :
Wishing on a Star
Last night I laid under the stars alone for about an hour, just thinking to myself and enjoying God's creation. Then a shooting star passed overhead. I got to thinking about what to wish for, then it hit me: what more could I possibly wish for? God has already given me more than I can ever imagine receiving, and he's not even finished! Am I not grateful for what I have? Or better yet, am I not looking forward to what is yet to come? God has already rewarded me beyond my wildest dreams, and he has so much more in store for me! I could have wished for anything on that star, but not only would that be greedy, but it wouldn't compare to any of God's plans for my life. So I decided to let that star pass for someone else to wish upon. I was then left there, once again alone, but now anticipating the action God is going to take in my life. Sure, wishes are fun to have, but having God in your life is worth so much more.

Surprised that i updated again so soon? yeah, so am i. but im at work and i have nothing to do. im desperate. yes, that's right... im at Willie B's answering phones all day. and they don't call very often. so technically, im getting paid to sit at the computer all day... HA! well, i guess i'll go get paid for watching a movie now. | | |
| It has been quite a while since i last updated. I'm sorry, i just like myspace a thousand times better! Let's see... what has happened since then? I went to camp, which was absolutely amazing. I had a basketball tournament... which went pretty well actually! We went to IHOP at midnight during that time (and played truth or dare which i won't go into detail about lol) and we still won our game the next morning! and i went to see the Devil wears Prada, which was really good. I went to the mall with my cousin and we shopped some... then we saw the Lakehouse, which was ok, but not brilliant. Last night i saw Pirates of the Carribean 2! It was really good, but there's an awful cliffhanger! And i spent the night with Kylie and we had a Disney watching party, for no reason. We watched Beauty and the Beast and the Little Mermaid! lol. Hmm, yeah, that about covers it since last time. Maybe in another month i'll update again! | | |
| Well, vbs is officially over! *tear* it was o much fun. I can't wait till next year. But for now, I can't wait until camp!!! That's only 3 days away! o my... I am so excited I can barely stand it! I went to see Nacho Libre today. It was funny, but not worth the ticket price. I would have to ay.... wait until you can rent it. Napoleon Dynamite was better. Now I feel like eating some icecream. lol. Have fun commenting me! | | |
| Okokok... i guess it's about time to update. Well, today was the first day of vbs, and it was awesome. i kno that most of you reading this saw me up there using my amazing acting skills to teach all of those helpless little children learn about the love of God! (haha, i love being wordy!) And even though i was worn out after the second group, it was still awesome. I can't wait to see what the rest of this week brings.
O yeah! and Mavericks whooped the Heat last night... we are soo going to win the championship! GO MAVS!!! | | |
